Hello,
I hope a family member gets this. You probably do not remember me. Wanda was my aunt. My father was Charlie Coyle (CW4 Charles Xavier Coyle), brother to John Coyle. My father passed in 1979. Wanda and my mother, Nell Rogers Coyle stayed in touch for awhile, then eventually lost contact. My father was in the Army, and when he retired, we lived in Texas, which is where my mother was from.
I'm sorry to say I do not know too much about the Coyle side of my family. I remember being at the Luke St. house in 1964, just before my 4th birthday and before we moved to Italy, and again in about 1968, when we moved back to the States. My memories are good. If a family member gets this, I would very much enjoy making contact with you.
I don't know if the Irish traditions held strong with you all, but the music was a huge part of my growing up years. Now I am a music teacher and a traditional musician (flute and whistle). My best to you all.
