Dear Zak family, I am so sorry for your loss. I know that at first it may seem impossible to cope, but what has helped me in times past are the Bible's promises for the future. For instance, the promise we have in the twenty-fourth chapter of the book of Acts reveals that there will , “be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. (Verse 15) I love that scripture because it gives us hope that we can see all of our loved ones that we have lost in death once more, and it doesn't matter what they have done in the past. At first it may seem too good to be true, but most of God's word is focused on telling us how this and many other prophecies in the Bible will come true. Such promises always help me to see that God does care about each of us and since He, like a loving parent, hates to see us suffer He soon plans on getting rid of tragedies that we now have to face. There are so many more promises in the Bible that can encourage us both now and in the future, but I hope this brief scripture helped you as much as it has me in the past. With sincere sympathy, Candace

Dear Kathy, Andrew and Jen, We are so sorry to hear about Don's passing. We fondly remember visiting with you in Cape Cod, our dinners here in Cheshire, and chatting in the stands while we tried to figure out all the whistles in field hockey games. Boston College has lost a great supporter. Sheri and Steve

Our sincere sympathy to you: Cathy, Andrew and Jennifer. I am out in Bend, Oregon visiting my daughter Amy, otherwise I would be there for Don's services. My two grandsons, Gabriel (1) and Calvin (4) were Christened yesterday at the Grace Lutheran Church. Also, I talked to Steve and Teri Giuditta from Seattle Washington yesterday and they send their condolences as well. I think that one of their daughters (Katie or Holly) was about Andrew's age. Many fond memories of Don from The Cheshire Jaycees, softball and most of all the Red Sox. This is a very sad day for us all. Regards, Dick Hartman, David and Amy.

Kathy, Andrew and Jenn, Please accept my most sincere condolences on your loss. I have many good memories of Don: camping with the Scouts and soccer practices & games, to name a few. I think that what impressed me most about Don is that he never let his corporate responsibilities interfere with supporting his kids and their activities. He was always there for them. He truly will be missed. Take comfort in the support you receive from the many people whose lives he touched along the way.
