Dear Joan, Ann, and Patty....... My sister Janet always calls me on Sundays and yesterday she told me about your Mom. My heart and prayers are with you and your families. Your Mom came to my dad's viewing Dec. 08. As soon as she lifted her head up I knew who she was! It was so nice to see her again. She always had that sweet smile. You are so blessed to have such loving memories of her! With deepest sympathy and love, Nancy Hale

Doris was a wonderful neighbor and a very dear friend. She was always there when you needed help. We will cherish the memories of all the conversations we had sitting under the old apple tree in the back yard. The girls loved to go down and visit with her. She always had a treat for them. We always thought of Doris as part of the family.

Doris was such a great friend. She was kind, and always with a quick laugh. I remember as a child being captivated by Georgia, peanuts and Jimmy Carter! Doris ALWAYS had cider and donuts for Halloween and I remember not too long ago Sally Bowman and I were talking about her cider. She always crocheted mittens and these lifesaver men and stockings for Christmas for us. I remember going to Doris' and having Fritos all the time along with some nice conversation. She was always quick with a smile, kind word or a laugh. She really enriched my life.

Seeing Doris every week made me smile. She always had something nice or funny to say to me. I loved how she would speak lovingly of her family, her history, and Fred. My heart is heavy but at the same time happy for her that she is now with her dear Fred, and she can rest in peace. Doris was very special to me and will be dearly missed. I know it was my job to see her every week but every once in awhile there's always that special someone that touches your heart. That was Doris.. She had a big heart and a gentle sole. My condolences to the Mullaney family. Bonnie....(Quest)
