Obituary of Edith Grahn

WATERBURY- Edith E. Grahn, 99, passed away Monday, May 31, 2010 at Wolcott View Manor. Edith was born April 5, 1911 in Waterbury and was the daughter of the late Gustaf and Hulda (Gustafson) Grahn. Edith was a graduate of Wilby High School and worked in the Mills Division of the Scovill Manufacturing Company for 42 years. Edith was a member of the Order of Vasa Lodge, Mill Plain Chapter of AARP Chapter # 1856, Winona Rebekah Lodge #8 I.O.D.F, and a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church. Edith is survived by a sister-in-law Estelle Grahn, and many cousins in Sweden. Arrangements- A Funeral Service for Edith will be held 10 A.M, Saturday, June 12, 2010 at The Zion Lutheran Church, 1555 Hamilton Ave, Waterbury. Burial will follow in Old Pine Grove Cemetery, Meriden Rd., Waterbury. There are no calling hours.
