To my brother (khaiyi), Halleem, I learned of your passing from Jean shortly after you died. She told me how much you suffered the last two years of your life, which saddened me considerably. From what she told me and my own experience, I think I can understand what that must have been like for you. I'm truly sorry we lost contact with each other decades ago because of my illness. But I remember how much you loved me, how you shared my interest in our Lebanese heritage and how you welcomed me into your home countless times and helped me see "Never on Sunday" on Broadway. And I also appreciate(d) your sense of humor! I've always loved you and still love and miss you with all my heart (ma'a kul qalbi)... Your brother (khaiyak), Rick(y)
