Dear Gilchrists: I remember Mrs. Gilchrist from my part-time job in the St. Mary's kitchen while I was in college in the mid 80s. In addition to being dedicated, talented, and hard-working, she had a great sense of humor that had a way of relieving any stress. She had a great laugh and along with ladies Avitable & Mordino suffered a teenage fool like me. She was approachable & genuine whenever she spoke. The world is a lesser place without her.
