Dear Beth, I was so sorry to see that your mom has passed away. We were away this past weekend and I couldn't make it to the wake and I did not have an address to send you a note. Our moms were great friends for many years, and I tried to find our where your mom was last year, when my mother died (Kay Tartaglia), but I had no luck and thought she might be in NY where you were. They played a little golf together, and went on their weekly "jaunts" together and always seemed to have a great time before my parents moved to the Cape. I am so sorry for your loss and I hope Beth that your mom was not sick for very long. I know how hard the loss of a mother can be but time will help, and treasure all the wonderful memories. I always liked your mom, she was such a sweet person and had such a twinkle in her smile. I hope you and your children are doing well. Sincerely, Lois (Tartaglia) McGill
