Obituary of Franklyn Held

SEBASTIAN, FL- Mr. Franklyn George Held, 93, of Sebastian, FL, passed away early Tuesday morning Oct. 5, 22010 at the Palms Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Palm Bay, FL. He was the husband of the late M. Ruth (LeCour) Held. Mr. Held was born in Naugatuck, Sept. 8, 1917, a son of the late George and Evelyn (Dohler) Held and been a Naugatuck resident of Naugatuck for many years, moving to Florida 10 years ago. He was a Tool and Die Maker with the Mattatuck Mfg. Co., retiring in 1999 with over 10 years of service. He leaves two nephews, Lloyd Randolph of Sebastian, FL, with whom he made his home, and Philip Randolph of Coventry, RI. All services will be private. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
