I don't know exactly why I feel inclined to write this here, but I will. If I could have one wish it would be to have the opportunity to spend the rest of my life with Alex. He was truly the most loving and supportive guy I knew. I don't know how I would of gotten through my every day without him, and I don't know how I'm going to still . . . But one thing is for sure, I have so many happy memories with him. Spending every day of my summer picking him up and going to wherever we felt like going. I didn't have a care in the world when he was around. We would always fight over the radio whenever he sat in the front and I would always lose the battle. He'd sit there and sing as loud as he could and I'd sit there secretly smiling. He made me so happy . . .
Then there were those nights, sitting out on the lawn, where we'd talk for hours and gaze up at the stars. We'd talk about the future, about life and eventually about love. How we made 'our song' the song that was his ring tone. Home, by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros . . . It was really quite fitting . . . Or when he got his wisdom teeth out and was bleeding constantly from it :( He kept looking for a kiss and I kept trying to avoid it :/ But he looked so hurt that I eventually gave in, and you know what- it didn't bother me too much after all...I loved him. More than that, he was truly my greatest confidant. You could trust him with anything ..I loved that about him. I will forever miss him and no one will ever take his place. And yes Alex, it is Mi amore ;) <3

Alex and I were friends since he came to Cheshire Academy in our Freshman year. I would always say that calling us friends was a weird way to describe our relationship because I didn't really appreciate him as a person. What we did have was a close partnership. Every year we had some unspoken, but constant deal. Some years it would be homework solutions for a meal at the snack bar, sometimes it was me taking him to 7/11 in my car and then him paying for a pizza lunch. Despite how much I would have liked to deny it it, Alex had a huge impact on my life. In reality, I think I spent more time with him than anyone else at Cheshire Academy. Even the way I talk and the kind of jokes I make, are partially because I was with him so much.
So basically, Alex despite all our differences I will miss you and will never forget you.

Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die By Mary Elizabeth Frye Jill, Michael and Tash, We are heartbroken over the passing of Alex. Richard and I send our deepest sympathy and love to your family during this unbearably difficult time. Much love, Lisa Daly
