Obituary of Stephen Kissh

Cheshire - Stephen J. Kissh, 92, of Cheshire, passed away Tuesday October 19, 2010 at Bradley Memorial Hospital in Southington. He was the husband of the late Florence (Noble) Kissh. Mr. Kissh was born February 2, 1918 in New York City, the son of the late John and Ester (Szabo) Kissh who were both born in Hungary. Mr. Kissh was a WWII Veteran serving in the US Army Air Corp. A mechanical engineer by profession, he had held a number of patents for his designs. Mr. Kissh is survived by his son David and daughter-in-law Linda of Cheshire as well as his grandchildren Matthew, Stephen, Laura and Brian. Of his four siblings he is survived by his brother George Kissh who lives in Florida. Arrangements - A graveside service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St.
