To the family: I am writing to extend my sympathy to you on your recent loss. Would it not be a wonderful thing to see our loved ones free of all sickness and pain, alive here on the earth? “He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces. And the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Jehovah himself has spoken [it]. “(Isaiah 25:8) The Bible assures us that this will indeed take place. The scripture found at John 5:28,29 assures us of that hope: “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, … At John 11:25: Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life; We can be confident that the Grand Creator who is not capable of telling a lie will make this a reality very soon: Titus 1:2; Revelations 21:4,5: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. 5 And the One seated on the throne said: “Look! I am making all things new. Also, he says: “Write, because these words are faithful and true. May the aforementioned scriptures be of some comfort to you as you go through this most difficult time. With sympathy, D.R. Miller

Mr. and Mrs. Cleary, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your daughter. I had gotten to meet Jacqueline when Linda Ivey, a close friend of mine, was working with her at Highland School. What a lovely child. When Sean came to Doug's room at Darcey, I knew what a wonderful family Jacqueline was a part of. I am sorry that I was unable to attend the services due to an illness. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sincerely, Kathy Dooley (Rm 2 Darcey School)

Dear Cleary Family, We are so very sorry to hear about Jaqueline's passing. My son Andrew is in Mrs. Berk's class and he liked Jaqueline alot. As soon as he came home yesterday, he told me the very sad news, and I could see he was shaken up. He told me he felt very sad about Jaqueline and to put it in his words, he said "she was awesome." Please know that your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. You must be so proud as Jaqueline's parents to know she was an inspiration to all who knew her, and that she has touched so many lives. With our deepest sympathies, The Loda Family

Dear Cleary Family, It is with great sorrow that my son, Cole, and I offer condolences to your family for your tragic loss. Cole is a 5th grade Highland School student who was in Jaqueline's 5th grade class, and has known Jaqueline since the 2nd grade. Recently, Cole has been given the opportunity to spend time with Jaqueline outside of the normal classroom time, and has spent some recess time with her indoors, reading and enjoying her company. Jaqueline has truly inspired Cole. One evening at dinner when I asked him what the best thing was that happened to him that day, he responded, "I got to spend time with Jaqueline reading and playing with her at recess time". To be honest, at first, I was taken back by his enthusiasm and asked him to tell me more. He looked at me and said, "Mom, it feels so good when Jaqueline smiles at me". He has since shared with me that he would like to be a Special Needs Teacher when he grows up and that he would like to get involved with CT's Special Olympics efforts. I share this story about Cole with you, so that you will know how your precious daughter inspired another child and how grateful I am as his mother that he was taught by her at such a young age such valuable life lessons as empathy and caring for others. She touched Cole in a way that will be with him throughout his lifetime and her presence in his life through knowing her will be with him always. Cole is grieving the loss of his friend, and I grieve with you as a parent, the deepest loss that we can experience as parents. May the inspiration that Jaqueline brought to others be everlasting and your cherished memories of your time with her bring you peace. With deepest sympathy, Lisa Mendes (Mom of Cole Mendes, Mrs. Berk's 5th Grade class at Highland Elementary)
