I was so sad to hear of Laverne's passing. A wonderful woman. I was flooded with fond memories of her when I learned she was gone and will never forget all her kindness to me, her great sense of humor and southern charm. Glendale will not be the same without her. I was blessed to have spent some time with her this past summer as she was looking forward to Karen's wedding. I was pleased to hear that she was able to attend. She will always hold a special place in my heart and know that I am thinking of Chris and Edwin and all those her loved her dearly. My condolences to all. Liz

So sorry for your loss. Mrs. Eigenbrot touched many lives. I remember her as such a warm hearted lady when I was a child and she was the secretary at Prospect Street School. My mother and her grew to be close friends. They had golfed together and shared many good times together. Such a wonderful lady that made a difference in many lives.

What a wonderful woman. A great second "mom" to all of us growing up on Gen. Patton. A great second "mom" to me when my mom was dying. We'll all miss that great laugh and the twinkle in her eyes. Thoughts and prayers to you--Chris and Ed and your families. Nancy

Edwin and Christine, I was saddened to hear of your mother's death. I had talked with her last year when I was visiting and thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. She sounded as vibrant as ever. Her passing seems to me to be the end of an era. I look back on when we were all growing up as a time of innocence that may be lost forever, but I am grateful for that experience. I can never forget the bond I felt on our dead end - one of a very loving and extended family. Please know my thoughts are with you at this time. Page
