its been just over two months since you've passed,and i still miss you terribly!and i have to say i find it hard to beleive that of all the people who's life you touched and who's live's you were a part of and all the people you've so selflessly helped,and they know who they are.these people dont even have the descency to write a little memorial to your kindness,it really saddens me,and makes me wonder why you even bothered?but i guess thats just the way you were. anyway those people should be ashamed of themselves.i for one will never forget all you've dsone for me!

I wish to sincerely offer my condolences to Sally's family. I worked with Sally for a few years at a group home for adolescent girls. It is at this home that I learned about the beautiful heart of Sally. I saw how she gave love and encouragement to these girls and saw how much the girls appreciated and loved her back. My heart is heavy. I will miss Sally. Know that she inspired goodness in other people and that is a wonderful legacy to leave. Marilyn Welter

kevin & micheal please accept my sincerest condolences for your devastating loss.Its taken me this long to bring myself to write this,because I didnt want to beleive or accept it.I cant beleive i'll never see her beautiful brown eyes,her gorgeous smile,her accent,her awsome sense of humor,the original sally way of putting things,that sometime only sally understood,& her infectious laugh,& so many other things.I knew sally only a couple short years,but she had a profound and lasting affect on my life.she was a wonderful person,always willing to help anyone,anywhere at anytime&anyway she could, be it emotionaly,financially or any other way.She was truly a special person,& anybody whos life she touched would have to agree.Sally was truly a lady,when i think of Sally i think of class.she always had class no matter what.I've been to many wakes & many funerals in my life, none worse than this.I now truly know the meaning of loss,emptiness,& despair.I'm a better person for having had the pleasure of knowing her,& for that i'm thankful.I take solice in the fact that the pain is finally gone & she is with the father forever& always.my heart is broken & can never be healed.I will never forget you,I miss you,I love you.....REST IN PEACE MY DEAR

I will never forget the first time we met. I was at work in Friendly's and you came in for a cup of "kaufee". As soon as you spoke I knew we would become great friends. I UNDERSTOOD what you asked for. I had such a hard time with the New England accent, but YOU, well, I felt at home talking to you. That year was good. We had time for visits and talks and conversations about our plans. We were friends, I had a friend. When you and Kevin moved we kept in touch for a bit but life got in our way. We connected from time to time through the years but we never got to visit again. I moved away too and that was another bit of life getting in the way. We talked in 2008 a few times, shared some emails and it felt so good to be connected again. So for now Sally my dear friend, this is just another interruption for us. Till we meet again, dear friend, till we meet again.

I remember when Alexandra and Mikey (sorry Michael but thats what we called you)were growing up and they spent time down at the pool. Sometimes they drove us crazy other times they were fine. But Sally and I would sit by the pool and tan away! Hours and hours tan and talk and laugh and talk and share stories and nightmares! We had fun. The kids were young and had no worries of their own and we had the normal day to day concerns. But somehow when we saw each other at the pool and started chatting the worries and problems disappeared and we had fun. Years go by, kids grow up, I didn't go to the pool much anymore, and lives change. No time to visit with friends,just briefly chat when they drive by and exchange cell numbers. We did all that a few months ago, exchanged cell numbers and I never had the time to call. I regret that, I really wish I had made that time to call. But I will always remember the great times we did have. To dwell on the what ifs is never a good thing. It is better to remember the what was. I will always remember your smile Sally, you NY accent that I tried to imitate but never got it just right, and your friendship and the pool time we shared. You will always be in my heart. I will miss knowing you were right down the road, but I know you are happy and healthy again now and your pain is gone. So for that I have solace in losing a friend. God Bless You Sally.

Our heart felt sympathy is there for Michael and Kevin. Tyler always knew he was welcome in Michaels home, getting a hug from Mrs. Smith everytime, everytime.I have many happy memories in the 4 short years I've know Sally. Sharing a burger on the 4th of July with Kevin and Sally. Sitting on the edge of the pool and chatting. A ferry ride trip to Block Island with the girls.
