I am sad to hear of the passing of Mrs. Rehbein. For a time she worked at The Notch. I remember her sweet smile and outgoing personality. If I was feeling a little overtired from a long night with twin babies, she always seemed to pick me up and give me the courage to face another day with them. I'm sure she was more than special to those of you who loved her so much. I am so sorry for your loss. Christine Mason, 7 Heath Court, Cheshire, CT

My Memere, what a blessing she was. Mat & I spent all summer long with her when we were little not only did she do sooo much for us, she was part of us always. she played every game and acted as a child. She was our friend. I was blessed when I had Katelynn and so was she. Katelynn, her great grandaughter, was blessed with stories and games as my brother and I were. Katelynn is now 14 and I still remember the day Memere first held her, she was only 6 months old and Memere treated her like a doll.
I will miss my Memere more than I can say but the memories I hold in my heart are some of the best I have.
Go in peace with god Memere; Your now with daddy and papa!! I miss you all so much.

I am very sadden on the loss of Lucile. Lucile was a great person who put smiles on people faces and made people happy. Lucile loved her dancing, and she was a very religious person. Barbara loved her mother, would do anything for her. She will be missed by her family, friends. May God Bless Lucile. Love always Todd, Marcella, Chris

Dear Barbara and family, I know you don't remember me but I grew up on the poultry farm on Marion Rd. I was June Hozubin's best friend and we would go see your mom often. When you were a baby, we would ooh and awwww over you. Your mom would give us a dime apiece and we would walk to the Notch to spend it! I always thought your mom was so pretty and very nice. My heart and prayers are with you..... Love, Nancy Hale

We were very sad to hear of Lucille's passing but know that she is in the loving arms of God and is reunited with many loved ones that have gone before her. She gave our family so much love and kindness over the years. John remembers Lucille taking him and his brothers out to the country to see Barbara's horses and always being there to take them out of the house when their mom, Ann Marie was sick. She was very good to us and we will never forget her. Our love and sympathies go out to you
