I knew Linda from many years ago. As we both went to Darcy grammar school, we spent many afternoons together while, our mothers, who were best friends sat drinking tea and chatting. She was always a kind and friendly girl and remained the same as she entered adulthood. When ever you saw Linda she always had a friendly smile and a nice word. Cheryl and I lost a friend last week who did more for us in the short time we knew her than many people do in a lifetime. Linda truly cared for people she hardly knew and took you into her heart immediately. We are better people having been fortunate enough to have had her touch our lives. My name is Steve and I had the pleasure of meeting Linda a year ago through retrouvaille. I was very touched by her honesty and her caring of others. She always took the time to ask my wife and I how we were doing and then she would ask "how are you really doing" knowing when people were holding back.I always enjoyed her stories and thesharing of her experiences they always have stuck with me and therefore im grateful for having the time to have met her. Linda has truly helped me and she probaly doesnt know that and im sure there are many others she has helped. I believe the best gifts are the gifts that you were unaware you given and I wish Linda knows that.The world needs more people like Linda but it seems like God needs them more. My deepest sympathys to Charles and there children and her family and friends.
