Obituary of Ann Marie Schumacher

NAUGATUCK - Ann Marie Schumacher, 81, passed away Wednesday March 16, 2011 at Farmington Care Center in Farmington. She was the wife of the late Howard Schumacher who passed away in 2007. Mrs. Schumacher was born January 17, 1930 in Pigeon Roost, KY the daughter of the late Biege and Mae (Campbell) Engle. She was a longtime resident of Naugatuck where she was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and her dog Tasha. Mrs. Schumacher is survived by her sons Howard Jr. of Cromwell, William of East Hampton, Robert of Colebrook, Roger of Wethersfield, George of Naugatuck, Michael and Chris both of Naugatuck; her daughters Nancy Kropo of Naugatuck and Debbie Munns of Coventry; her brother Roger Engle; her sister Boda Gould; 25 grandchildren;12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Henry and Harrison Engle and well as her sister Sue Roberts. Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow Street. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.
