Dear Olga and family, I wish to say that I'm very sad, to learn of John's passing, it was too late to attend the funeral mass. John was always kind and willing to chat whenever we met at church. John helped my daughter with advise and support to get into law school. John was also an excellent lector and helped me to become a better reader at mass. Having lost my wife just in March, I know the pain you feel from your loss of your friend, husband and lover. The hole left in your heart will be filled with the fond memories of the good times with John. Your family will give you strength during the early weeks and help you to get organized. Cheshire has given heaven another angel. Your Epiphany parish friend, Charles W. Farley

My memories of Uncle John are as numerous as the activities he enjoyed. He loved bowling, dancing and reading; playing setback, scratching lottery tickets and drinking wine. He loved hearing about my sports endeavors and watching football on TV on Thanksgiving Day. He always loved the gifts he received and wrote the most eloquent thank-you notes. He loved to go shopping for fancy clothes and also enjoyed wearing novelty shirts and socks. Uncle John was a truly unique and remarkable person. I will miss you, Uncle John.

Dear Carla & Gerard, Our sincere sympathy on the loss of your father. He and your mom were wonderful to all of us during our school years and beyond, always welcoming us filling your home - and especially your kitchen! - with our noise and crazy ideas. We are so fortunate that our parents were such good friends, and we remember them all fondly. Our best to your mom from all our family.
