My grandpa was a great man. 8 brothers and sisters. He had no shoes. I remember hearing the gooseberry pie story many times. There is no single word that describes him. But there are many words that describe him. Cheerful, friendly, courteous, kind, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent. I remember having lunch with him, chuck-e-cheeses and carshows. And for all of us a door closes but a new one opens. Like grandpa said LIVE!! And god gave us emotions to deal with times like this. And never forget your memories no matter what you have the prescious gift of memories. So it gives me great plesure to be here with you to remember Leslie Clark Sandy, or as many of you know Les Sandy. I would know like to read Corinthian 4:16-18 New Century Version (NCV). So we do not give up. Our physical body is becoming older and weaker, but our spirit inside is made new every day. We have small troubles for a while now, but they are helping us gain an eternal glorythat is much greater than the troubles. We set our eyes not on what we see, but what we cannot see. What we will see will last only a short time, but what we cannot see will last forever. So stop mourning and again what grandpa said LIVE!!! :) :):):):):) So live in a way you are prepared to die and die in A WAY YOU ARE PREPARED TO LIVE.
