Obituary of Carol Ebersold
CHESHIRE Carol Ebersold, age 78, of Cheshire entered into eternal rest on July 5, 2011, at Midstate Medical Center in Meriden, joining her husband Henry Joseph of 44 years, who predeceased her in 2000. She is survived by five children and their spouses: Peter and wife Pam of Trumbull; John and wife Leah Knode of Purcellville, VA, James and wife Debbie of Slingerlands, NY, Ann Marie Damashek and husband Scott of Harrison, NY, and Thomas of Milford. She is also survived by a sister, Rosemary Pittman of Fayetteville, NY; 10 grandchildren: Nicole Buckley, Benjamin, Joanna and Alexandra Ebersold, Christopher, Emily, and Michael Ebersold, Elissa, Cameron and Samantha Ebersold, and one great grandchild, Cameron Morris. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Carol was born April 5, 1933 in Glendale, NY to Louis and Elizabeth (Dinegar) Breyer. She married Henry Ebersold on Sept. 29, 1956 and they lived in (Bellerose) Queens, NY until 1990 when they relocated to Cheshire. She graduated from Dominican Commercial HS in Jamaica, NY and worked for many years as a legal secretary. She was known for her love of crossword puzzles, Scrabble, Jeopardy, exercise class at the Cheshire Senior Center, and spending time with family and friends. Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday July 8 at Alderson Funeral Home, 615 S.
