To the Payne family, we are so sad to hear of the news of Jeff. He will be greatly missed in this world. He made an impact on everyone he ever came in contact with. We will never forget his amazing positive outlook on everything. I personally will not forget the time when my Mom was at Yale the same time Jeff was getting his stem cell procedure done. He was so happy to be getting that perfect match and took the time to visit my Mom as well. That alone tells you that he was selfless. May he rest in peace. Sincerely, The Gilronan family

I've been blessed to know Jeff in many different context my entire life. From competing against him in Little League through our days as members of the Cheshire High Class of '68 Jeff was always a person you were glad to know and privileged to call a friend. As often is the case our lives went in different directions and it was our daughters involvement in soccer and softball that brought us back together. I am so thankful that we shared our Class of '68 reunion/60th birthday party this past November Marisue, Jeffrey and Ashley; no words can ease the pain of the loss. His love for you fueled his desire to fight the fight. Always remember the good times, the joyous times, his zest for life. Always know that we are here for you. You're in our thoughts and prayers.
