I had some great memories with John throughout the years, from high school classes to several years of baseball. Ill definitely never forget the first time I had met John... It was my first time camping up in Avon... such a crazy kid, such a nice kid, always making sure people were laughing and in a good mood.. Always helped stop arguments with some witty comment.. Playing softball against him was definitely a trip.. praying he would never hit a line drive up the middle at me.. always giving me some kind of lip every time he got on base against me... he was such an awesome kid, and him and his antics are definitely going to be missed.. his smile especially.. <3<3

John was so happy and excited about his sister Mary's wedding to Mike Bathrick this past May. While we were getting ready to be announced into the wedding reception, the DJ begin going through the list of wedding party members and how they would be introduced. He said, "I will introduce Marissa Iezzi, being escorted by John Turner." John was so upset and started saying, "I'm Mary's brother. They should say 'Brother of the Bride'. I'm her brother." I immediately went over to the DJ and made sure that he added "Brother of the Bride" to John's introduction. He loved Mary (and Mike) so much and was extremely proud to be the Brother of the Bride that day.
