Obituary of Terrence Langin

WATERBURY- Mr. Terrence K. Langin, 57, of 213 Mansfield Ave., passed away early Wednesday morning Aug. 24, 2011 of advanced cancer for which he was treated over the past year. Mr. Langin was born in Waterbury, Sept. 26, 1953, a son of Hugo Langin and the late Frances (Oles) Langin. He was a graduate of Crosby High School and was a peacetime veteran of the U.S. Army. Besides his father of Waterbury, he leaves a son, Ryan M. Langin of Wolcott; his former wife, Karen (Morrone) Langin of Wolcott; 3 sisters, Concetta Barfield of Riverview, Fl., Elaine Argenta of Watertown, and Regina Langin-Mastro of Naugatuck; one brother, William Olson of Waterbury; 17 Nieces and Nephews and 6 great-nieces and great-nephews. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:15 am from the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. and proceed to All Saints Episcopal Church, 262 Main St., Oakville for a service at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Bantam Rd., Bantam. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., I-91 Tech.
