To the Tooker Family, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I served with Matt in the Marine Corps. For a year and a half we were roommates and best friends, and to this day I consider him the most trustworthy friend that I have ever had. He was an outstanding Marine, that far exceeded myself. In our time together, he did convey one thing to me that I think that you should know. He was very proud that he was going to be the one to carry on the Tooker family name, and that he would be the only one. Matt was quite adamant about his opportunity to do this, something I've only ever heard from him, and something only he would ever say, though very honorable. I know this may not be the right time, but I think that you should find a way to continue that in his honor. May God bless you and keep you always... Semper Fidelis, Jesse D Flynn

Matt was a wonderful student at Cross Street Elementary School. I so enjoyed the many stories he would share about his adventures. He was often smiling, warm, sensitive, a bit unconventional at times :) and "lived in the moment." He often would make other students feel better if they were upset, but putting his arm around them, help them do an activity in class, or inviting them to join in and play with him at recess. Matt brings a smile to my face. I think of him as a caring boy- who grew into a wonderful young man. My prayers and sympathies are with you at this most painful time for his family and friends. I am so sorry about your loss. We had the pleasure of knowing Tooker while he served in the USMC with my husband who is currently deployed in Afghanistan. He took our 8 year old son under his wing and showed him all his "cool scars" he got while he served his tour in Iraq. I was shocked to hear the new and although these words wont help heal you pain or fill the void from your loss please know you are in out thoughts and prayers and if there is anything we can do please don't hesitate to ask. To the Tooker family, between last night and today we reminisced all the good memories made while spending time with Matt. He had a special way of making an impact on you whether he spent an hour with you or years with you. Our family is grateful for all the years we had with him and there will be that emptiness, but more so we will be remembering that smile, and all the time spent by fires, cutting trees, riding quads, and doing all the things we all loved to do as a family. That's what Matthew was to us he wasn't a friend he was family, willing to give you the shirt off of his back just for a plate of pasta. Matthew will be forever in our hearts, but more so seared into our memories and never forgotten. Love the Humphrey family.

My prayers for all of Matt's family and friends. Anne, you are warmly in this Marine Mom's thoughts. When I first met Matt at 1/6 Homecoming, he warmly greeted me with a big hug and added "my mom told me to make sure I said Hello to Knox's mom!" Matt was very sweet! I will be eternally grateful for his service to our Country as a United States Marine. God Bless you Matt. Love from Joy and Brad.

To the entire Tooker Family, I would like to extend my deepest condolences to everyone. I remember Matthew when I was married to Maureen and only knew him as a teenager. I was proud to hear that he served our country, and I am very sorry to hear of his death. My nephew Jimmy would have been the same age as Matthew, but he too has died on a motorcycle 5 years ago. I can only feel the pain from the point of being an uncle but can't even imagine what your family is going through. May Matthew rest in peace. He is with good people in Heaven. God Bless you all. Allan Olivero, Thomaston
