Obituary of Douglas Chase
CHESHIRE; Douglas Chase 44, of Cheshire passed away Thursday September 1, 2011 at his home.
Doug was born July 18, 1967 in New York City, son of Robert Chase and Marla (Moes) Novia and has been a Cheshire resident since 1971. He was a graduate of Cheshire High School as well as The University of Connecticut. He was the owner and operator of The Car Man, in Wallingford Ct. He loved & excelled in tennis and was a member of the varsity tennis teams at both Cheshire High and UCONN and was also a longtime youth hockey player in Cheshire.His quirky sense of humor will long be remembered endeared him to his many wonderful friends and loving family.
Besides his parents he leaves his Dad of the past 33 years, Richard Novia of Cheshire, his brothers, Brad Chase and his wife Sherry and their children Evan, Collin and Eve of Ellicott City, MD, Jeffry Novia and his wife Marylee and their children, Ricky and Ryan of Cheshire and Christopher Novia of Milford, his sisters, Kim Mach and her husband James and their children, Carolann, Kendall, Braden and Lilli of Cheshire and Pamela Williams and her husband David and their children, Christopher, Tanner, Katherine and Lucy of Duxbury, MA. He also leaves his uncle Victor Moes aunt Dale, and cousins Laurie and Neil and aunt Nicole Sleeman
Funeral services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire has care of arrangements.
