Obituary of Lynn Wagner

NAUGATUCK- Mrs. Lynn E. (Tata) Wagner, 66, of Naugatuck, passed away Wednesday morning, Sept. 21, 2011 at the Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of Robert Wagner. Lynn was born in Waterbury, June 27, 1945, a daughter of the late Myles and Dorothy (Dahl) Tata and had been a naugatuck resident for most of her life. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and had attended Post College and the University of Conn. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She was a member and past President of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians of Naugatuck and was a former member and past Chairwomen of the Naugatuck Zoning Board of Appeals. She retired in 2003 as a Case Manager for Special Projects with the Department of Motor Vehicles with over 20 years of service. Besides her husband of 15 years, she leaves her sister Joan Manfredi and her husband John of West Hartford; 2 nieces, Janice Manfredi and her husband Paul Pennini of Newburyport, MA, and Joyce Cowles and her husband Tim of Farmington; two great-nephews, Gordon Breicenbach of Boston and Tyler Cowles of Farmington. Her funeral will be held on Monday Sept 26, 2011 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:15 and proceed to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday Sept. 25th, 2011 from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center, 175 Chase Parkway, Waterbury 06708.
