Obituary of Margaret Austin

CHESHIRE - Margaret D. Austin passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 1, 2011 in Niantic, CT. She was the wife of the late William H. Austin Sr. Mrs. Austin was born April 17, 1913 in Hyde Park, MA. She is survived by her son Peter M. Austin, his wife, M. Denise Grover Austin as well as her beloved grandsons and their families, Peter M. Austin Jr., Patrick W. Austin, Andrew G. Austin, and Matthew C. Austin. She had nine great-grandchildren. Besides her husband she was also predeceased by her son William H. Austin Jr. and her great grandson Pierce H. Austin. Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 4, 2011, 10:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Mrs. Austin's family requests that Memorial Contributions may be made to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center in memory of Pierce H. Austin, 282 Washington St., Hartford, CT 06106.
