Obituary of Sandra O. Paquette

Sandra O. Paquette, age 74, of Prospect entered into rest on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Paradigm Health Care of Prospect. She was the devoted wife of Roland P. Paquette. Sandra was born on October 1, 1939 in New London, daughter of the late Grant W. and Henrietta Bassett Outtrim. She was a parishioner and Eucharistic Minister of the Church of the Epiphany in Cheshire, a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and resided in Cheshire for most of her life before moving to Prospect. Sandra graduated from Cheshire High School, Class of 1957 and then entered the U.S. Navy to serve her country with pride and honor. In 1959 she married the love of her life, Roland, and soon started their family. Sandra is the beloved mother of Steven Paquette of Waterbury; and Suzanne Dietrich and her husband Michael of Canal Fulton, OH. She also leaves her 4 loving grandchildren; Christopher, Brian and Laura Dietrich and Brian White. She was predeceased by her infant daughter Janice Lynn Paquette; her brothers John, Robert and Richard Brundage; and her sister Audrey Hill. Sandra’s funeral procession will leave the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 So. Main Street, Cheshire, CT 06410 on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30AM in the Church of the Epiphany, 1750 Huckins Rd., Cheshire. Her burial will be private and at the convenience of her family. Friends may greet the family at the funeral home on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 5PM to 8PM.
