Obituary of Rajeanne M. Chasse
CHESHIRE- Rajeanne M. Chassé, 86, passed away Wednesday August 6, 2014 at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. She was the loving wife of Raoul D. Chassé.
She was born July 18, 1928 in Baker Lake, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Claude and Alma (Nadeau) Banville.
"Rajeanne's life was a testament to her Catholic faith. She served the Lord as she served others as an educator, wife, mother, memere, friend, caretaker and sister to all. God was her rock, family her joy."
Rajeanne is survived by three sons Patrick and his wife Deb Chasse of North Haven, James and his wife Kelly Chassé of West Haven, and Mark and his wife Kim of Chandler, AZ; two daughters Louise and her husband John Riley of Greenville, SC, and Janice Borowy of Cheshire; thirteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers Roger, Guy, and Jean Claude Banville.
Arrangements- Mrs. Chassé’s funeral will be held 9 A.M, Monday August 11, 2014 from The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire and proceed to St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 North Brooksvale Road, Cheshire, 06410 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Ave, North Haven, CT 06473. Calling hours will be held Sunday August 10, 2014 from 3 to 7 P.M at the funeral home.
