Obituary of Marshall Fisco
CHESHIRE - Marshall Fisco, 88, passed away June 4, 2012 at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. He was the husband of Olga (Coppola) Fisco and the late Madline (Marotollo) Fisco.
Marshall was born November 3, 1923 in New Haven, the son of the late Ralph and Katherine Fisco. He was a graduate of the University of Texas in 1945 where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering. He later served his country serving in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee where he obtained the rank of Lieutenant, serving on the island of Guam during the Korean War.
Marshall was the owner of Waco Scaffolding Company in Cheshire for over 50 years. During that time he became a land developer and made a significant impact on the town of Cheshire's northend. He will be dearly missed by so many people who he helped and supported in the community throughout the years.
Besides his wife, Marshall is survived by his daughters Kathleen Borrelli and Jim Chisholm of Meriden and Marsha Guarnieri and her husband Larry of Cheshire; his son Marshall Fisco Jr. of Dallas, TX; his brothers Alfred and Ralph Fisco; his sisters Irene Leonard, Marion Brandolini and Patricia Masi; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his first spouse, Marshall is pre-deceased by his daughter Lauren Fisco-Janowitz; his brother Frank Fisco and his sister Ann Borrelli.
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 9, 2012, 9:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
