Obituary of James Mcknight Beatty

WATERBURY- James (Jim) McKnight Beatty, 63, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 16th, 2014 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Jim was born January 16th 1951 in New Milford, son of Germaine Dugre' Beatty Gardiner and the late James Beatty. He was raised by his mother and his loving stepfather George Gardiner. After Jim graduated from Kennedy High School in Waterbury he served his nation as a member of the National Guard. Jim proudly worked as a machine operator for the Sikorsky Aircraft Company until his retirement. Besides his mother of Waterbury, he is survived by his brother Jerome and sister-in-law Nancy Beatty, and nephews Ben and Jacob Beatty, all of Falmouth, ME. Arrangements- Burial at the Beatty family plot in Roxbury Cemetery has been arranged by The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury. Respects may be paid through personal prayer in Jim's memory.
