Dear Claudia & Family: We are both so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. We consider ourselves lucky to have met her when we lived next door to you on Rustic Lane. We are extremely sorry to be away this weekend to miss her "celebration of life." Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts. Claudia, Patrick, Tom and Margaret, We were saddened to hear your Mom passed away the other night. Claire was a remarkable woman dedicated both to her family and serving others. The Cummings family will miss her terribly and will always appreciate her kindness and generosity to us over the years. I'm sure you have many memories to cherish that will give your families strength over the coming days. Claudia, Pat, Tom, and Margaret, I wish I could come to tell you how sorry I am about Claire's passing. It is never easy to say goodby to someone who is beloved and such a tremendous part of our lives. It is my hope that each of you will know she is just as loved where she is now. Your mom had such strength and dignity. Life definitely wasn't easy yet she was a success in the best way. Claire raised four wonderful children alone and often without any help. I give her so much credit. You're her legacy and she was proud of each of you. I am so glad she lived to see her children as thriving, happy, loving adults. Then to be able to enjoy her grandchildren and great grandchild. That is what life is about. I am so happy to know we all have that Singleton blood running in our veins. I am also so happy to have such wonderful cousins who take after their equally wonderful mother. Love to you all. Pat Schwab
