Dear Chris,
John and Becky called me with the sad news. I extend my deepest sympathy for your loss.
I think that I only met Pat once or twice..Dorothy's 90th at her townhouse on Siesta Key which we still own after buying it when she went to the retirement home at 93, or, more likely, her 100th and/or the service held at Bay Village in January, 2010. She died five days after her 101st on December 22, 2009. She was so great. Now, like me who lost Jane almost 7 years ago at age 68, you have lost Patty too young. I remember her as an especially attractive and vital person so, like me, you were lucky in love. I had Jane for 47 years...19 years is too short and I am saddened to learn that she had ALS. Jane was good to the end but I would guess that you were not so lucky.
I have not been in Florida since Dorothy's death but do plan a trip this winter when I hope to see you and John and Becky.
Meanwhile, God Bless, John

Today is a very sad day but also one to rejoice knowing that Patty is at peace in Heaven with God. My love and deepest sympathy go out to her mother ,sisters and brother ,husband and to her many close friends.
We all were very blessed to have Patty be part of our lives.
The montage of images showed how much love she shared . Patty grew more beautiful as she aged ,something some of us can't say. But her outward beauty fails to compare from her inward beauty.
During our high school years Patty and I were together daily and her family was my family. Patty will forever remain with us as she was truly special.
My deepest symphony ,
Love Rob

My heart is broken.
Such a terrible disease, I can only hope she did not suffer too much.
I have such fond memories of Pat. We spent so much time together, sleepovers, double dating, swimming in the pool, sewing , laughing, totally enjoying one another. We had a fabulous group of friend's hanging together. I tell people about our high school year's growing up in Cheshire, and they can't believe the fairy tale life we lived. How blessed were we?
So many stories, so many pictures(which I will bring out again). She has always been in my heart.
May she rest in peace, and may the memories keep your family going.

Dear Chris, Shirley, and all the family,
I am so sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. Pat was and always will be a very special person in my life. She was the angel that God sent to me at a very difficult time in my life. My life took a very positive spiritual direction when Pat introduced me to the Catholic Cursillo movement. I learned much about faith and spirituality from Pat before and during her illness.
During that time, we were the best of friends and twice traveled to the Medjugorie in the former Yugoslavia. Although we did not always keep in touch as often as we once did, I always kept Pat in my heart. We often called each other “Buddy.”
I will conclude by saying, I love you Pat, my Buddy and always will.

Dear Shirley, Chris, Cheryl, Bev and Jim...
I think of you all at this moment after laying Patty to rest, and I am broken hearted for each of you...please know that my warmest loving feelings and prayers are coming to you from China.
I always loved talking with Patty, and sharing her spiritual thoughts as well as her loving family values. She will be missed by us, and it pains both Phil and I to think of what you are all going through at the loss of your precious daughter, wife and sister. Please know that we keep each of you in our loving, caring wishes, and pray for the kind of peace that Patty seemed to always to find in God...

Dear Shirley and Family,
My deepest sympathies go out to you and all your family. You may not remember me, but Pat and I were friends in high school. Pat (and probably you) hosted a wedding shower for me back in 1967. Thank you. We may have lost touch through the years but I will never forget her. Love to you, Barby Allen Pullig

I was so sad to learn of Patty's passing. I was a childhood friend for a while; we went to grade school together. I did not graduate from Cheshire High, however, and lost touch with many schoolmates. I remember her, though, and some of our fun times as young girls. Playing together after school on Avon Blvd. and other memories .....you don't forget , even after all these years.
.
Pat was a special person. I am sorry for her family for their loss.

Patty will always be a memory of youth, charm and vitality for me. I'm really saddened by her leaving this plane. I know Cheryl better and I know this is so terrible a loss for her and the rest of the family.
When I think of Patty, I see her sitting on the steps of her and Cheryl's apartment in Coconut Grove, FL. She has a scarf dotted with paint and was so excited to be living with Cheryl in Miami. She'll always be that to me.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is never easy going through a difficult time like this one. I wanted to share with you some information that has given me comfort in the past. You can find this information in God’s word, the Bible. In Acts 24:15 it states “There is going to be a resurrection.” What these words mean to us is that we can find comfort in them.
In 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 mentions how God gives us comfort when loved ones die. Hebrews 2:15 mentions how we are freed from a morbid fear of death. Also John 5:28,29 gives us real hope because it mentions to us how we will be reunited with our loved ones who have died. I hope these bible scriptures are helpful to you as they were also for me. If you have any questions you can email me.

I will truly miss my friend, Patty. She was kind, generous, humorous, gentle, caring and a whole lot more. She taught me many things throughout the years and mostly through her sprituality. My memories of her are racing through my head along with her sweet voice. She worried so much about others and minimized herself. Rest in peace Patty, no more pain.
