I remember my Uncle Johnny telling me I was the last lady left (because of my love of wearing dresses). I remember how he used to call my Dad "Goof" (instead of Rufus) a term of endearment. I remember how he used to put my Mother in her place! I remember all the good times...even when Memere & Pepere lived with him. He never turned anyone away from his door.....he took everyone in and took care of them. I remember when he worked 2 jobs to take care of his family and anyone else who needed a place to rest their head! My Uncle Johnny has always been 39 years old in my eyes. I can picture him & all his siblings sitting around GOD's table telling stories and laughing about the old days! There is definately a awesome Lydem family reunion going on in Heaven, I only hope St. Peter can keep them all under control! I love you Uncle Johnny and I am so glad you are no longer in pain, you are happy and with all your departed family. Until we meet again.....your favorite neice......Debby

We knew that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. Part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide. Although we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, nothings seems to be the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. Dad, I love and miss you with my entire heart and soul. Until we meet up again, RIP <3
