I am sad that I cannot be with all of you at the services in honor of your dad. Your dad was a wonderful man and loved by all who knew him. He was my "uncle" by marriage and always made me feel welcomed and loved every time we were together. He was very special to Art and I and will be greatly missed. My love to all of you.

Dear Cousins, I'm so sorry to hear about your dads passing. He was my Great Uncle & filled that name so well. Eventhough I didn't get to see him often in my life, he was truly an unforgetable man. I will miss him greatly. I was just asking my dad last Friday if he had talked to him lately. He was on my mind. I am not sure I will be able to be at the services in Michigan, but I will definately try. If for some reason I am not, please know that I am thinking of all of you during this difficult time. In the latter half of 1980s...as I recall 1988 I had the experience of being a member of the first Bethany school building committee of which Bob was chairman. His original efforts would eventually culminate in the renovation and expansion of the Community School. Working with Bob and watching him was a learning experience which would serve me well both in my professional life and as chairman of the building committee that eventually, in 1998 finished the project he had started. Bob was a true gentleman
