Mrs. C, Sally, John and Bruce;
I am just receiving this sad news today. My sincere condolences to all of you. Your entire family and Mr. C especially were extremely good to me. From his stories, life experiences, advice, humor, and kindness he was truly one of a kind and larger than life. Some of my fondest childhood & young adult memories involve Mr. C. I am a better person for having known him and for that I'm eternally grateful.
Rest easy Mr. C.... knowing you made a difference.

Sally, John and Bruce,
We are all so sorry to hear of your father's death. Your father was so special and certainly"one of a kind" and the definition of a person filling up a room when they entered applied to your dad. As you all know, he mesmerized us all with his stories from his life experiences and I was always glued to the edge of my seat listening to him. His passion for life was unparalleled.
We are all better people for having had your father enrich our lives over the years. He will be terribly missed.
Rest in peace John!
Respectfully,
Joe Hindelang, Margot Putukian and Joel Hindelang

Our sincere sympathies to you all. Every time we saw John he was always so exuberant! He enjoyed the occasional card game at Bruce and Christine's and always had a big hello for all our family. I know Philip and Steven will miss pop pop ever so much.
Take comfort in knowing he is now at rest and remember the good times you all

Though we hadn't seen John for some time we have fond memories of times together. He was a fine man and a good friend. I (Jim) mentioned him to a friend here in Florida just last week. Our sincere condolences to the family.

Sincere condolences from the Grant Family, of Oxford. Mr. Caldwell got me my first full time job and lined up my first car. My sister, Lisa, and dad, Bill, were very active in team roping and barrel racing "back in the day.". Mr. Caldwell was a kind man and we have fond memories. Again our condolences for your loss.
