I was so shocked to find that my dear friend, Christine, had passed away and I didn't even learn about this until today. Christine and I had a very special friendship, developed on Facebook than via our email communication. Never did she complain about her ALS. Her spirits were always high and her humor wicked. Without having ever met her, she was as close to me as a sister and I will never forget her love, light and our connection. Christina, your Mom adored you and spoke of you frequently. She was so proud of you. Ed, my heart goes out to you at your loss of your lifelong mate and love of your life. My thoughts and prayers are with you. As we say in the ALS network, Christine has earned her wings, and I know that she is looking over you and always will. I will love her forever, as a very special friend in my life and while struggling with her loss; I will go on keeping her with me in spirit, as I know that is what she would have wanted for all of us.
