I was so shocked to find that my dear friend, Christine, had passed away and I didn't even learn about this until today. Christine and I had a very special friendship, developed on Facebook than via our email communication. Never did she complain about her ALS. Her spirits were always high and her humor wicked. Without having ever met her, she was as close to me as a sister and I will never forget her love, light and our connection. Christina, your Mom adored you and spoke of you frequently. She was so proud of you. Ed, my heart goes out to you at your loss of your lifelong mate and love of your life. My thoughts and prayers are with you. As we say in the ALS network, Christine has earned her wings, and I know that she is looking over you and always will. I will love her forever, as a very special friend in my life and while struggling with her loss; I will go on keeping her with me in spirit, as I know that is what she would have wanted for all of us. God Bless you Ed, Christina and your extended family. With much love, Tamara

Dear Ed & Christina, how very sad I was to hear of Christine's passing. We went to nursing school together & if it wasn't for her sense of humor I would never have gotten through that difficult time. Chris was one of those special people that you rarely have the pleasure to know. What a kind and loving human being that I feel so privileged to have known. With sincere sympathy I shall keep Chris and her family in my prayers. Janice

I was so sorry to see that Chris has passed away. I remember days of lying in the sun at Bantam Lake. Meeting for years every summer and sharing what was new. Chris was always a delight, how brave she must have been to tackle this disease. With a heavy heart I wish all of you strength and peace. Your former neighbor at Bantam Lake. Jo Ann Battistoni

Very sorry to learn of Chris` passing. We worked together at Adult Ed.I`ll never forget when the superintendent told our pincipal to cease school activities . All the other teachers panicked ,but Chris and I went straight to the mayor and saved the day. She was a good teacher and a great human being. She will be greatly missed.
