Obituary of Henry Pruitt
Durham – Henry “Hank” Pruitt, 76, "the Last of the Good Guys", passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at his home.
Hank was born February 3, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late William and Helen (Borowy) Pruitt. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was employed by Wallingford Steel as a Millwrite. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Wallingford Rod and Gun Club as well as the New Haven Raccoon Club.
Hank is survived by his son Dr. Craig Pruitt and his wife Nicole of Middletown, RI and their son Caleb; his sister Catherine Kovi of Killingworth; his Sister-in-law, Doreen Pruitt of Cheshire; as well as several Nieces and Nephews. Hank is predeceased by his Sister, Alice Stender, and his brothers, Richard Sr., Michael and William "Sonny" Pruitt.
Arrangements – A Funeral for Hank will be held Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 4:00 pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1 pm until the start of the service at 4. Memorial contributions in Hank’s name may be made to the Henry Pruitt Memorial Fund, c/o Savings Institute Bank and Trust, 165 East Main Road, Middletown, RI 02842.
