I am so sad to hear of Dr. Falk's passing. I was a student at Wolcott High School (93-97) and always enjoyed conversation with her both as a student and later as an employee. My deepest condolences to the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Carrie's passing and has been many years; fond memories of her and the Falk family at the Watertown Skating Club. I especially remember her pulling up in her Renault Le Car which she modified to Le Carrie.... She will be missed. My sympathy to you all.

Please accept my deepest sympathies on the death of Dr. Falk. Thanks to the Falk Foundation, I was awarded a grant years ago to produce a children's book and the support of Dr. Falk and her kind encouragement meant a great deal to me and the work I produced. She was clearly a woman of education, of substance and generosity. The loss of such a woman is a loss for all of us. I extend my condolences to her family and to all who loved her.

To Dr. Falk's (for that is what I always called her) immediate and extended family,
I first met Carrie in the 1960s. She was our neighbor and the mother of my brother's best friend, Steven. With the passage of time, she became so much more. She was a dear and loyal friend to both of my parents. She was a craftsperson, jewelry maker, a vegetable gardener, a film maker, an intellectual, an advocate for great causes and a person who treasured her friends. She was a provider of wisdom and of humor, an advisor during difficult times. When my father passed away in 1997, she became a guardian angel to my mother and called her every single night for COUNTLESS years, just to make sure my mother was safe. But above all, she was an adoring wife and loving mother. Nothing meant more to her than her family. I feel blessed to have enjoyed bits of her company over the last forty years. I will miss seeing her again.

Dear Mike and family
I am so sorry for your loss. It has been my pleasure to know Carrie and to learn from her about the family she adored. So intelligent, so talented and creative, so funny, and so strong minded and determined. I always had the greatest respect for this amazing woman. I truly enjoyed my conversations with her and found her to be so generous with her thoughts and wisdom. I loved how she was so honest and able to stand up for what she was passionate about. She amazed me with her concern for others, when she herself was in pain and having difficulty with her endurance. She always put her needs behind those of others and never let on that she was struggling. I hope I enriched her life 1/2 as much as she did mine. I will miss my friend greatly.
Again, my thoughts are with you all at this deeply sad time.I hope you all find some peace in the memories of the many wonderful times you shared with Carrie.
Fondly
Susan Broderick
