Her beautiful blue eyes, great sense of humor and contagious laugh will be missed by all who loved her. Maria is survived by her daughters, Tamika Lui-Amaral and her husband, Ryan, of Waterbury and Alexandria Kavanaugh of York, PA; her grandchildren, Riley and Evan Amaral of Waterbury; her sisters, Patricia Kavanaugh of Oakville, Cynthia Nastri of Waterbury, Debra (Don) McQuarrie of Waterbury, Susan Kavanaugh of Oakville, Terri (Gary) Chacho of Oakville, Margaret (Gordon) Strachan of Waterbury and Nina (Bob) Kavanaugh of Waterbury and her brother, Kenneth (Mary) Kavanaugh of Torrington.
