A gathering of family and friends and luncheon to celebrate Arthur’s life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 12PM until 4PM at the family home in Cheshire.

The truth of the matter is that Art is still with us having passed on a model of a truly great human being. Art's gifts are generational and found, not only with those of us privileged to have known him but in the way his lessons are ever being passed on to our progeny. Thank you Art and thanks to your family for supporting sacre' bonhomme (quite a man). "May you all have peace in your minds and hearts" (a traditional "Iroquoian/Onondaga" saying). I too met and worked for "Art", while he was running the show in Brossuard. One of the best men to work for. All the shop guys knew, if you "worked" for him, he would work for you. Easy to work hard for a man like him.

I'm am so saddened to hear about Art's passing. He and I worked together in Broussard, LA during the 80's. He was truly one of the great men in my life; always respectful of others; never raised his voice, yet spoke with such authority. During a time when we were all so young running around with our hair on fire, Art was always the coolest one on the room - never lost composure and never lost sight of the solution. That is why we generally always turned to him for guidance and leadership. My condolences to his wife and family. Art will be missed.
