With my deepest sympathy for the loss of Uncle John. Even though he was not my true Uncle I thought of him as though he was. I have a few moments that I shared with him especially at my daughters wedding where I acknowledge him and his service in the United States Marine Corp. I will never forget him standing up from his chair while 125 in attendance gave Uncle John a standing ovation. I was so very proud of him. I also remember playing horse shoes with Uncle John at the Torrington Fish and Game. He was a master of the game. I never paid cribbage with Uncle John but my father in law Joseph Ceuch had quite a few battles with him. Both men were serious cribbage players. It was worth the price of admission. I will miss Uncle John and all his proud life time experiences as a Marine and especially the person he was. Our family loves you Uncle John.

I am very sorry for your loss. My dad and John would call each other with birthday wishes every year because if one of them forgot he would have to buy the other one dinner. This went on from their early years until my dad passed. I hope they meet again in heaven.
