Dear Dave and family, I was so sorry to hear of Joan passing. I enjoyed spending many of my teen years working with her at the town hall and dozens of our visits for decades after, especially the ones when my children got to visit with her after a bus ride with their favorite driver. Joan was always so kind and caring to me. I will cherish the fond memories I have of her. Thinking of you all, Erica

I want to send my condolences to the Pescetelli and Russell family. I met Joan the first day of classes at Stone College in New Haven and we became dear friends. I remember a road trip I took with Joan and her family to Canada and a trip she made with me and my mother to Vermont. We sure had a good time on both trips. And she was also the maid of honor at my wedding something I can never forget. I will miss our yearly Christmas cards and getting to catch up on her family. I am so very sorry.
