Obituary of Charles Clinton

CHESHIRE- Charles "Chuck" Clinton, 75, passed away Sunday July 22, 2012 at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. He was the husband of Gloria (Babon) Clinton. He was born July 23, 1936 son of the late Charles Albert and Helen (Farrell-Weber) Clinton. Chuck served with both the National Guard and the United States Air Force. He was the President and Owner of Tours Incorporated. He was a communicant of St. Thomas Beckett Church where he was a member of The Men's Club; he was a member and past President of both the Kiwanis and SKAL Club; and a Scout Master for Cheshire Cub Scout Troop 198; and volunteered with the Cheshire High School Marching Ram Band. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter Judi Theriault and her Fiancé Peter Flight of Cheshire; two sisters Mary and her husband Bob Anstatt of New Jersey and Connie and her husband John Frazee of New Jersey; and seven grandchildren Elizabeth, Jocelyn, Jessica, Jacqueline, Jolene, Katherine, and Elizabeth. He was predeceased by his son Kevin Charles Clinton. Arrangements- Chuck's funeral will be held Thursday July 26, 2012 9:15 A.M from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410 to St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 North Brooksvale Road Cheshire, CT 06410 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery, Higgins Rd, Cheshire, 06410. Calling hours will be held Wednesday July 25, 2012 from 5 to 8 P.M at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to the St. Thomas Becket Men's Club, 435 North Brooksvale Road, Cheshire, 06410.
