I had the opportunity meet Mrs Dibble many years ago in the Early Morners church group. Her personality filled a room with warmth; her kindness inspired everyone. I'm proud to say our paths crossed.
I am have many fond memories of Lainie. I was the Tennis Director at Highfield Club from 1988 - 1991. Lainie was a regular and enthusiastic participant every Ladies Day (Wednesday) and I admired her beautiful one-handed backhand. Long after players had switched to graphite rackets, Lainie continued to use her trusted wooden Davis racket. We both enjoyed history and we exchanged books for several years while I was a student at Wesleyan University. I was very sorry to hear of her passing and I am grateful for having known her. She was a special lady. My condolences to her many friends and her entire family. She will be missed.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your loving mother . I remember your mother to be very warm hearted and kind when we were friends at Salem school so many years ago. I don't know if you remember me but we played together at your house a few times and this is where I remember your mom . My siblings and I lost our mother in March and the old home place will never be the same for us .
I pray that the Lord will give you all peace and comfort during your grief .

Dear Dibble Family,
Years ago when I worked for the Superintendent of Schools I got to work with your Mom a lot. We did board meetings and the board minutes together. She would also treat us to lunch for Secretary's Day at the Waterbury Club. She was a delight to know and will long be remembered.
Never forger you Mrs. Dibble.
