Dear Marty, Ray, Michael, and all your families. Please know how sorry Paul and I am at the loss of your Mom. She was always a beacon of light to us, and our Holidays in Ct. Would never have been complete if Dolores wasn't present at our dinner table amidst all of us, children, grandchildren, and Frannie and Phil.
She was a great sponsor to me, and leaving her when we moved to Maine, was a tough thing to do. She loved you kids above all, and was a feisty gal in her lifetime. We will miss her so! She made her mark on our hearts!
Our love to you boys.........Eleanor and Paul Brown

To The Miller Family, I would like to express my sympathies on the passing of Dolores. Back in the 1990's when we were still labeling and inserting flyers into the Cheshire Herald for preparation for delivery to the Post Office, Dolores was working here helping us on Wednesdays. She was a terrific lady and we enjoyed having her at The Herald.. When my mom "retired" from her regular job, she came up on Wednesday's to help out too. She fast became friends with Dolores and they had many great conversations, especially when the paper was delivered later than usual. My mom would often pick up or take Dolores home from the office. My mom had a terrible sense of direction to begin with. When she first came to Cheshire she would get confused as to where to turn out for the office. One day she said, "I got so lost after leaving The Cheshire Herald!" I asked her how did you get back on course. She replied, "Dolores showed me where to go!" I thought it was wonderful. I'd like to think they are meeting up again and drinking coffee together once more. You have my sincerest condolences.
Sincerely,
Maureen Jakubisyn

Sending love & condolences to the Miller family, her sons Ray,Marty,Michael, her daughter in laws and grandchildren.I know her son Christopher & grandson Ryan is welcoming her already.Dolores was like a sister over the years. When we worked on her bookkeeping duties together she knew exactly what I had to do every month and was so sharp she could tell me what was outstanding etc. Unreal. Sometimes we had to go to the bank and the store she had it all down pat and I was just a puppet that followed instructions. It was funny at times but she was always on target. She amazed me beyond words. I allowed myself to be her puppet and she felt she had full knowledge and control on what had to be done. It was terrific. My memories will bring a smile with so many experiences we shared. She endured a lot for a long time and I feel peace for her for now she is resting and giving instructions in heaven. Prayers to all and know your Mom had many who looked up to her. She was a strong women living with her disabilities.

Ray and Cheryl: So sorry to hear about your Mom's passing, Ray. I know she struggled with Dementia/Alzheimer's and that has been hard on you and your family to watch. I hope the many happy memories of your Mom over the years bring you comfort and makes you laugh....she sounds like a real spunky lady! Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
