Obituary of Dustin McGirr Paolino

WOLCOTT - Dustin McGirr Paolino, 23, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016. Dustin was born April 6, 1992 in Meriden, the son of Alfred “Chip” Paolino and Kathleen McGirr. Dustin attended Wolcott High School and graduated from Bristol Tech in 2010. He loved music and was currently the lead guitarist for "Forget Tomorrow". He was currently employed at Dominic and Vinnies Pizza and was in the process of following in the family footsteps by becoming a Welder, a career held by both his grandfather as well as his mother. Besides his parents, Dustin is survived by his brother Jake D. Paolino; his maternal grandmother, Judy McGirr; his paternal grandmother Claudette Paolino; his uncles, Todd McGirr and Matthew Paolino; his aunts, Karen Paolino and Jeanna Paolino and several cousins. He is predeceased by his grandfathers Donald McGirr and Alfred Paolino; and his uncle Donald Christopher McGirr. Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Friday February 12, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday, from 4 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to an organization of the donor’s choice.
