Virginia loved swimming. She loved going to the beach when she visited us in Southern California. I remember as a very young girl rising up and down with the waves with Aunt Virginia by my side. She always brought us paints, chilly, charcoal, and art paper. I always aspired to be as accomplished as she was. She is my inspiration.

To all the family of Virginia Passaggio. Virginia was the sister that my mother Maureen Power nee Dolan never had. When Maureen's six children were growing up in the 1960s and 70s in Tipperary Virginia's "parcels" were the next thing to Xmas. Often they came 2 and 3 together. They were a treasure chest of surprises into our often ordinary lives. They were still coming in check form in recent years to Maureen's grandchildren. Her determination to do was inspiring. We will always have the strength of her spirit with us. Our prayers and thoughts are with you today in Tipperary. Matt David Katie Jim Margaret Walter Sarah Ethel Tom Raymond Harry Clara Paddy and Maureen Power.
