Obituary of Mary J. Sasso

CHESHIRE - Mary J. Sasso 98, passed away on Monday March 21, 2016, at the Mid-State Medical Center with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Anthony J. Sasso. Mrs. Sasso was born on February 16, 1918, in Roslyn, New York, a daughter of the late Charles and Frances (Venezia) Caracappa. She was a special education teacher’s aide in the Roslyn public school system. Mrs. Sasso is survived by three sons, Anthony Sasso, Charles Sasso, and Lewis Sasso, three daughters, Rosanne Sasso Harte, Frances Poder, and Susan Petremont and her sisters, Jeanine Brescia of Mineola, New York, and Frances Petretta of Roslyn, New York. She will also be missed by her 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Arrangements- Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 10:30 A.M., at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home, 615 South Main St., Cheshire. Burial will be in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery.
