Obituary of Beatrice Kozlowski

Beatrice “Bea” Kozlowski, age 91, of Cheshire, entered into rest on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at her residence in Elim Park. She was the wife of the late John J. Kozlowski. Beatrice was born on October 7, 1924 in Bethlehem, daughter of the late George and Anna (Lusas) Zemaitis. Bea was a long time Canton resident before moving to Cheshire 5 years ago. She and John enjoyed time with their dogs; which they considered to be their “children”. She is survived by her beloved sister, Eleanor, with whom she resided with and her cherished nieces; Karen A. Beitler of Cheshire, Carol LaFauci of Prospect, Joanne Zemaitis of Oakville and Lorna Porter of Maine, her loving nephew, Eugene LaFauci, Jr and his wife Linda of Woodbury; and her loyal dog, Daisy. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 No. Brooksvale Rd., Cheshire, CT 06410, on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 10AM. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 669 Platt Road, Watertown, CT 06795. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire has been entrusted with her arrangements.
