Margaret was a dear friend and neighbor to 5 generations of the Cleary and Phelan families. I will remember her for being the wonderful lady that lived on the other side of our hedges, who seemed to never stop baking and cooking. She would greet me when I returned home from college, Manhattan or Boston when I visited my parents - always with a huge smile and a warm hug. And, of course - a plate of cookies or German apfel kuchen would be waiting for me as well.
Margaret's kindness extended to our dogs as well. If they happened to stray from our yard - we knew where to find them. They'd be anxiously waiting for Margaret to open her sliding glass door to slip them a goodie.
Margaret and her kindness, was a constant in our lives for many years. She will be greatly missed and very fondly remembered.
